Our School

Mid Yell JHS is a non-denominational school providing education for children from Nursery to Secondary four.

The school roll is presently 95 pupils and there are a further 25 children in the Nursery class. Our primary department is divided into 3 classes: top primary, mid primary and infants. The secondary department has pupils from S1 to S4.

S1/S2 classes study the Scottish 5-14 curriculum.
S3-S5 study a combination of Standard Grade level and Higher Still courses.

Whole School Celebrations of Success

School Dance	School Show	Golden Day
S4 organised our school dance held on the 18 December 2009. All pupils in Yell schools were invited. This year's theme was James Bondand we had to dress appropriately to match the theme. This dance should be the last held in this hall.	The whole school and many community members took part in this years show: A Christmas Carol.	On 14 January 2010 our Primary Department had a Golden Day in celebration of their all their hard work and successes last term.
